The Rooms page has been updated to provide our customers with convenient access to essential information in an easily and frequently accessible location in the platform.
First, we have added the ability to add a description to any room, to provide understanding around the purpose of a room. As an example, this might be used to indicate a specific project, group of people, or region.
We have also added two columns to the Rooms page: TCU This Month and Region. The TCU This Month column surfaces usage data for each individual room and is accessible to roles with access to TCU Usage information. The Region column displays the room’s region, which can be relevant when determining room assignment to minimize latency.
While adding this key information to the Rooms page, we have included a Refresh button on the page. This button will update the content and display the most up-to-date information.
Finally, we have made some architecture improvements to the Rooms page, with the goal of improving performance, page load speeds, and flexibility for future enhancements.
