If you are using a Windows 11 computer, you may run into a certificate error when trying to use a Tehama PCoIP Client. To resolve this certificate issue, install the Internet Security Research Group (ISRG) Root Certificate on your computer.
Note: Windows 11 support is expected to be officially supported in Q3 2022.
How to Install the Certificate
- Download the certificate from the URL: https://letsencrypt.org/certs/isrgrootx1.der
- Navigate to Downloads Folder (or the folder where the file is downloaded)
- Right-click on the file isrgrootx1.der
- Click on Install Certificate
- Click on Open when prompted in the Open File - Security Warning Window
- In the Certificate Window Wizard, leave Store Location as "Current User" (Default selection)
- Click Next
- Select "Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate"
- Click Next
- Click Finish
Note: You can also download the certificate using the Certificate Download Link or Download the attached isrgrootx1.der certificate file.
