Install Tehama Client on Windows

Latest available Tehama Client versions for Windows:

  • Version 3.1.0:   Two-Step install - Tehama Client and the Session Client (HP Anyware Client).

Note: If you do not have administrative rights, a system administrator will need to install both the Tehama Client and the Session Client for you.

 

 

Before You Begin - Uninstall any old version

Before installing the Tehama Client, it is strongly recommended that you uninstall any previously installed versions, including:

  • Tehama PCoIP Client
  • HP Anyware Client
  • Teradici PCoIP Client

Uninstallation Instructions

Option 1: Through Windows Settings

  1. Press Windows + I on your keyboard to open Settings.

  2. Click Apps → Installed apps (Windows 11) or Apps & features (Windows 10).

  3. In the search box, type PCoIP or Tehama.

  4. Look for any of the following:

    • Tehama PCoIP Client

    • HP Anyware Client

    • Teradici PCoIP Client

  5. Click the three dots (…) (Win 11) or select the app and click Uninstall (Win 10).

  6. Follow the prompts to complete the uninstall.

Option 2: Classic Control Panel

  1. Press Windows + R, type appwiz.cpl, and press Enter.

  2. The Programs and Features window will open.

  3. Scroll through the list and look for any of the clients listed above.

  4. Right-click each and choose Uninstall.

  5. Follow the on-screen steps to finish.

After uninstalling all older clients, restart your computer before installing the new Tehama Client.

 

Note: Failure to uninstall old clients may cause conflicts during installation.

 

Download and Install Tehama Client v3.1.0

Follow the steps below to download and install the Tehama Client version 3.1.0 (New) on your Windows device. This version requires two separate installs: the Tehama Client and the Session Client (HP Anyware Client).

Step 1: Download the Tehama Client

  1. Log in to the Tehama Web UI.
  2. Go to the DESKTOPS page.
  3. Click on the INSTALL CLIENT button in the top right of the page.
  4. Click on the 3.x client download link next to the Windows symbol.
  5. Wait for the Tehama_pcoip_client.exe file to be downloaded to your Downloads folder.

Step 2: Install the Tehama Client

  1. Go to your Downloads folder.
  2. Double click on Tehama_pcoip_client.exe.
  3. Click yes on the prompt to allow the application to run.
  4. Follow the installation instructions. You may be prompted to restart your browser after installation.
  5. Restart your browser if required, then log back into the Tehama Web UI.

Step 3: Install the Session Client

After installing the Tehama Client, on your first attempt to connect to a Tehama Desktop, you will be prompted to install the Session Client (HP Anyware Client).

  • If you choose Yes, the Session Client installation will start. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
  • If you choose No, you will not be able to connect to a desktop until the Session Client is installed. You can either:
    • Retry the connection and choose Yes when prompted again.
    • Install the Session Client manually from the Help menu by selecting Install Session Client.
