Ports required for PCoIP Communication
For a Tehama desktop to launch successfully, users must ensure that the following ports are open or allowed in their computer's firewall to establish PCoIP communication.
| Port | Port Number | Direction | Description |
| TCP | 443 | In | Client Authentication |
| TCP | 443 | Out | Cloud Licensing |
| TCP | 4172 | In and Out | PCoIP Session Establishment |
| UDP | 4172 | In and Out | PCoIP Session Data |
| TCP | 60443 | In | Connection Broker Communication |
Firewall & VPN Considerations
- If your firewall or VPN administrative console supports traffic filtering via headers, we highly recommend adding the
pcoip-default-sg-sniheader to the allow list. This will ensure all PCoIP traffic is permitted. - Our PCoIP Connector IPs are dynamic and sourced from a large pool of public IP addresses provided by AWS. While AWS provides a list of public CIDR blocks, we strongly discourage whitelisting by IP due to frequent changes.
- Whitelisting by URL is possible. Please contact Tehama Support at support@tehama.io to request your PCoIP Connector URL address(es).
